Copenhagen songwriter School of X has released his second EP, Destiny, following 2017’s Faded. Dream.
And he’s has never been closer to his listeners than on this record. The lyrics are deeply personal and the production is vivid and intimate. It is a record that greatly emphasises Rasmus Littauer’s urge to constantly explore new ground in his music.
Self-produced by School of X and mixed by Chris Tabron (The Strokes, Kelela, Beyoncé) Destiny is assembled from hundreds of musical vignettes, recorded over the course of a year and a half of touring. Destiny is grandly textured, yet closely confiding…
I like things that are really honest and really direct. It has to have the nerve, and the intimate part of the sound is really important to me. With Destiny, I really wanted to cut it into the bone.
Alongside the new EP release School of X also reveals new tour dates in Denmark, Switzerland, the UK and USA, all listed below.
