Back in February, we reported that Paul McCartney had rejoined his old bandmate Ringo Starr in the studio for a collaborative track. The fruits of the collaboration can now be heard and it’s typical Ringo Starr through and through – from the almost parodic amount of peace symbols on the cover through to Starr’s deadpan delivery, ‘We’re On The Road Again’ is a cut likely to please fans but it perhaps won’t convert the unconvinced. Regardless, its sharp lead guitar (courtesy of Joe Walsh) and undeniable energy certainly lend the song a charm – take a listen below. ‘We’re On The Road Again’ is the second cut to be shared from Starr’s upcoming ‘Give More Love’, due to hit shelves 15th September.
