As the harbinger of a new era in Pop romanticism, London-born, LA based artist Rachel Rabin, better known as RAIGN, bends boundaries to create a darkly-dreamy music that’s near-sublime in its transformative power. RAIGN’s lavishly textured take on alt-pop centres on her “heart stopping vocals” and “soaring cinematic scope.” Fans of Florence & the Machine, Imagine Dragons and Hosier will love the “baroque elegance” in her ornate soundscape, with a grandeur inspired by early influences of classical and blues music with electronic elements taken from her love for EDM.

Achieving over 100 million streams across all platforms and 1.2 million followers on Shazam, RAIGN has charted multiple times in various territories including Number 1 on Russia’s Pop Radio and Number 3 on the BBC Radio One Dance Charts as a featured artist. Following two US Top 100 EPs, (Knocking On Heavens Door & When It’s All Over), RAIGN whets appetites for her debut album SIGN with standout single Who Are You, which reached ears across the world on New Music Friday USA. SIGN centres around RAIGN’s lavish, textured take on alt-pop and incomparable, soaring vocals and features her uplifting singles Out Of Time and Who Are You, which masterfully blend her signature, orchestral elements with organs, electric guitars and driving, organic drums, whilst her latest single God Only Knows puts RAIGN’s creative prowess at the forefront, putting a darkly mystifying spin on the Beach Boys classic. Waves of an immersive cinematic grandeur wash over you with each crushingly beautiful vocal cadence, giving the track an entire life of its own.

Her Entertainment Weekly Award winning sound has graced many a soundtrack (The Vampire Diaries, The 100, AMC’s Humans, America’s Got Talent, World of Dance, & more) with Best Use of Music in a TV Finale in Season 2 of The 100, being a true highlight. Recorded in Los Angeles with co-producers Robbie Lamond (Ellie Golding/Lana Del Rey), Mysto & Pizzi (Kelly Rowland) and French House DJ Fred Falk (Fleurie/Daft Punk/Ellie Goulding), SIGN is set to be a career defining album that establishes RAIGN at the forefront of boundary pushing pop, executing her distinctly grand vision with an unmatched finesse.

On her motivations behind SIGN, RAIGN states, “Many of the songs from SIGN started their journey some time ago, back when we wrote the first EP and they’ve stayed with me since, guiding me along like little Signs. It’s finally time to share them! I wanted to make an album that has it’s singles but also takes the listener on a journey, from epic orchestral, to driving pop, and back to dark and dreamy, something that could be listened to all the way through, like the magic albums I cherished so dearly as a teenager.”

RAIGN involves herself with every level of the creative process and takes the wheel of her full time musicianship at her purpose-built home studio. Aside from working on her own music, she runs her own label Millionaire London Records, designs clothes, writes songs for some of the biggest names in music and is currently penning an audiobook; gracefully scored by herself as well. Her life is defined by her creativity and while she channels a lot of that into her music, her passionate vision seeps into every facet of her life.
