PREP announce their debut self-titled album alongside new single ‘On and On’

Today, cross-cultural four-piece band PREP announce their debut, self-titled album via Bright Antenna Records alongside new single ‘On and On’. ‘PREP’ – due out on 30th October via – is an honest representation of what the band has evolved into as well as reflecting their own stories and style.

The artistic credentials of this group are second to none with; AlunaGeroge, George Fitzgerald, Kasabian and Celeste being just a few names the individual members of PREP have worked with over the years. Having first started making music together as a band in 2015, their fusion of genres and infectious live sets made them stand out in the crowd.

With Alt-pop and Funk at the foundation of ‘On and On’, their nonchalant style and soul pours into the regretful love song. Vocalist and frontman Tom Havelock says:

“This one started life as a love song, a real romantic slow burner, but as we got to the chorus it somehow became about someone who’s left. It’s almost like the song wishes it was a love song. The artwork followed a similar path – starting with a desert road trip through this epic landscape, but then we ended up switching the car for a phone booth.”

Naming Kaytranada and Mac Demarco as touchstones, we can be confident that the album will be a multigenre masterpiece. ‘PREP’ will be released worldwide on 30th October, pre-order coming soon
