Pilgrims’ Dream returns with inspiring effort Ocean

After deciding to take on music professionally in 2017, London based Pilgrims’ Dream has delivered an array of intricate, acoustic-leaning music. He’s an avid singer-songwriter and producer who’s delivered a somewhat calmly anthemic new injection of modern folk. Ocean is an intensely motivational new single that’s derived from real-life struggle, and a true journey of overcoming.

When Pilgrims’ Dream was juggling life in the forces beside his passion for music, he built up a reputation as an uplifting and talented entertainer. Since 2017, he’s grown creatively through his innovative interpretation of indie music that’s garnered 50,000 Spotify streams and counting. While his experimental rhythms and vocal layers are reminiscent of traditional folk music, Pilgrims’ Dream plays with this structure alongside infectious choruses and an expansive, cinematic sound. Recent accolades for this artist include reaching the finals in the American Songwriting Awards, as well as the Hollywood Songwriting Contest.

After chronic illness left this artist unable to sing for over two years, Pilgrims’ Dream is conveying more creative enthusiasm than ever. Ocean uses 60’s inspired vocal harmonies to break down heavy-hitting experiences from the past few years. Lyrics speaking of drowning and isolation eventually lead to a graceful tale of hope and support, embodied in a sunny and vibrant playlist staple.
