One Two Ten Really Adds Up

New on our desks this week, comes the insanely catchy number from One Two Ten. They just released their debut LP (Hurry Up & Wait) a few months ago. This addictive piece of ear candy was not included on the album. But we’ve got it for you now.

One Two Ten is a pop rock band based in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Their members include Andrew May (lead vocals/keyboard), Spencer Christian (Lead Guitar), Evan Burgess (Bass), Jon Edmund (Drums), and Stinson Fuller (Rhythm Guitar). The band is able to fuse classic rock structure with pop rock melodies to create a fresh sound. Yet they still pay homage to groundbreaking bands of the genre like Walk the Moon and The Killers. Coupled with a tour de force live performance, breaking down the barrier between band and crowd, One Two Ten brings something to excite every generation.

“Heathers” is a short story about a girl living her best life, but may have lived life a little too much. The style of the song is a mixture of a 50’s standard and 90’s punk rock resulting in a pop/rock sound. The beginning of the song draws off of inspiration from The Four Seasons, Kings of Leon, and Hippo Campus. This song is very radio friendly because of the pop melody and upbeat rhythm section.
