NYC Brass Funk Band ‘Lucky Chops’ Release New Single “Full Heart Fancy”

New York City-based brass funk band, Lucky Chops, today release “Full Heart Fancy,” the first single from their upcoming self-titled album. In line with the band’s signature style, Full Heart Fancy is a high-energy, genre fusing original composition packed with singable instrumental melodies, booming brass and groove heavy percussion. Immersed in the upbeat spirit of the track, listeners can envision themselves on a stroll through the bustling multi-cultural city streets that Lucky Chops calls home. It’s an all-around fun listening experience that’ll make it hard to stay in your seat.

Describing the track, tenor sax player Daro Behroozi says, “We’re sending out heart energy that’s meant to heal, uplift, and inspire joy and celebration of life.”

The band–featuring members Josh Holcomb (trombone), Daro Behroozi, and Joshua Gawel (trumpet)–got their start in 2006 busking in the New York City Subway System gaining millions of views from fan shared viral videos. Since then, the band has taken their mission “to share the healing and inspirational power of music” with them from the subways to now headlining shows in more than twenty five countries around the world, spanning six continents.

“Full Heart Fancy” follows the 2018 release of the band’s EP, Virtue and Vice Sessions, Vol. 1. In anticipation of their upcoming album Lucky Chops, the band is offering the album, along with exclusive content and experiences, for pre-order here. “Full Heart Fancy” and Lucky Chops’ other music are available for streaming now on all digital platforms.
