Members of Midlake, Franz Ferdinand, Travis, Grandaddy and Band Of Horses form new super-group

Members of Midlake, Franz Ferdinand, Travis, Grandaddy and Band Of Horses have teamed up to create a new indie rock supergroup, BNQT.  The brainchild of Midlake’s Eric Pulido, the project was initially conceived by Pulido while on tour in 2013, the idea behind the band being to gather a varied lineup of vocalists to contribute to a highly collaborative and varied album.

In addition to involvement from the likes of Grandaddy’s Jason Lytle and Alex Kapranos of Franz Ferdinand, BNQT also features involvement from the rest of Midlake.  The vocalists from each of the groups involved in the project contributed two songs to BNQT’s debut album, ‘Volume 1’, meaning that the album looks set to offer no shortage of variety.

BNQT’s ‘Volume 1’ is due on April 28th via Bella Union.  You can read more about the album and hear the glam-fuzz stomp of lead single ‘Restart’ HERE

The full track-listing for ‘Volume 1’ is as follows…
