MEI releases euphoric summer-inspired EP “No Bad Days”

London-based vocalist, bassist and producer MEI (Mercy Welbeck) releases her sophomore EP ‘No Bad Days’.

The four track project encompasses a distinct blend of R&B, Afrobeat and jazz influences to create a unique collection of genre-defying singles. From the upbeat funk of ‘We Ride‘ to the tropical tinged hues of ‘Fall Down‘, the project allows MEI to pull threads from her diverse musical collection to create a unique body of work.

Speaking about the project, MEI comments “For the last few years my music listening experience mainly revolves around playlists I make for myself, and I’ve noticed that I listen to different moods of music in each season, which is probably the case for lots of people. So, I wanted to create a project that everyone can use to be creative and start their own playlists with and maximize their summer vibes! I created ‘No Bad Days’ with my close friends who are all part of the From Concentrate family, which helped me capture the feeling of good times and ‘living your best life’ in the music.”

Having been championed by the likes of British rapper Kojey Radical, MEI’s enchanting sophomore EP portrays an artist who is taking the music scene by storm.
