Cambridgeshire alt-rock quintet Mallory Knox have released their latest music video, for ‘Better OFF Without You’, the second song released from their upcoming third album, ‘Wired’.
The video, chronicling a jarring and fragmented tale of mental health issues, accompanies a song which deals with a difficult and yet highly topical subject head-on.
Vocalist Mikey Chapman says of the songs and video’s theme: ‘For many, going to a doctor and speaking about an illness of the mind can be a difficult thing and can require great courage – to accept and admit you no longer have full control of your own thoughts and feelings. To be given a pill and told to ‘see how it goes’ or made to wait months to talk for 10 minutes to a professional is the reality many face. The quick fix mentality of society may work for some, but leaves others more isolated and desperate than ever before. We wanted to address this in our own way’

‘Wired’ will be Mallory Knox’s first album of new material in three years. They released its first track, ‘Giving it Up’ back in November.
