Lad Alive present disco flavoured house cut, “Everybody Be Uprising”

Newly formed, UK’s Lad Alive are a refreshing new group to land on the electronic music scene. Headed up by true northern souls Marc GibbNicolas Hall (with previous records signed to Kitchenware Records), Mike Porter (keyboardist with the revered Smoove & Turrell). The group’s distinctive sound features an eclectic mix of disco-house with classic elements of northern funk & soul. 

Lad Alive now drop their debut single, ‘Everybody Be Uprising’ featuring infectious vocals from Sunderland-born, Berlin-based Jess Roberts (production assistant for PJ Harvey) Along with the piano-laden, vocal-driven original, come two club ready remixes from – ForrinerAnti-Tank.

With early backing from Robert Owens (Fingers Inc), a figure that requires little introduction & past collaborations include the likes of Frankie KnucklesLarry HeardSatoshi Tomiie. The single has also picked up the stamp of approval from the UK’s Man Power, an artist who delivers ‘intergalactic House music’ – according to Resident Advisor.
