Sometimes, words aren’t enough. In Ksenia’s (Kuh-SEN-ee-uh) newest video “Keep Walking,” the Russian-born singer-songwriter turns to dance to add a new layer to her musical storytelling abilities. Ksenia spent 9 months in ballroom dance rehearsals prior to shooting the video. She combines her newfound dance skills with her acting, filmmaking and songwriting to tell the sad but empowering story of taking charge of her life and relationships.
“Keep Walking” is the second single from Ksenia’s upcoming 7-track EP Fire with Fire. For this debut EP, the singer-songwriter combines electro-pop, R&B, and traditional folk melodies to create seven original songs that tell stories about self-empowerment and taking responsibility for your own happiness. Ksenia co-wrote the songs on her new EP with LA songwriter/producer Mario Marchetti, who produced songs for Jojo and Demi Lovato. She also co-wrote one of the songs with Trevor Holmes, a semi-finalist on American idol in 2018. Her Fire with Fire EP comes out in February 2020.
