Kit Rice And DJ Freek Unveil New ‘Konfidence’ Remix

Following on their recent collaborations ‘Once Again’ and ‘Phat Cat’, which were supported by BBC Radio 1, BBC 1Xtra, Kiss FM and Capital Xtra, among others, London singer, songwriter and musician, and BRIT School alumni Kit Rice and fast-rising Drum & Bass DJ and producer FREEK are back together again for the D&B remix of Kit Rice’s latest single, and title track for his forthcoming debut album, ‘Konfidence’, premiering exclusively on GIGsoup.

Better known for classic cuts such as ‘Cobalt 60’ and ‘Enamoured’, DJ Freek is fast becoming one of the most sought after Drum & Bass producers in the country, and is already a staple on renowned DnB labels such as Multi Function Music and RAM Records. Linking up with fellow BRIT School alumni Kit Rice for the third time, after the magic of ‘Once Again’ and ‘Phat Cat’, has definitely resulted in a certified DnB banger for 2018, with this ‘Konfidence’ DnB remix!

Speaking about how this ‘Konfidence’ DnB remix came about, Kit Rice says, “I have been working with Freek for about 3 years now. Since ‘Phat Cat’ in 2015, we have had a string of hits together, including ‘Once Again’ and his remix of ‘BYOB’. I knew as soon as I sent the stems for ‘Konfidence’ to Freek, that he was going to come up with something amazing. I love his production and he doesn’t disappoint, this track is a roller – 3 and a half minutes of bass face and out of control drums”.
