Joshua Perez has released his newest single, “Think About You.”
“The song is about a friend of mine. I write about how I would feel if this friend left and didn’t come back. And so what I am saying is that it is hard for me to forget about everything we’ve been through and act like nothing happened.” – Joshua Perez
The single takes the listener through all of the feelings he experienced in that situation. The lyrics highlight a back-and-forth scenario where there are conflicting messages with lines like: “You’re my poison I can’t let go / Took you in now I’m dying real slow / You say you hate me then you love me / how can you say this to me”
“Think About You” is the second single Perez has released this year after dropping “Alone” on January 11th.
