Marga Man is a rapper with that humorous Midas touch and he’s back with his new single “I’m a Rude Boy” due to be released worldwide on 7th July 2019. Marga Man has seen success over the years gaining a number 1 track on Channel U and several collaborations with Dizzee Rascal over the years. Appearing on Dizzee Rascal’s track ‘Girls’ Marga Man was part of Dizzee’s gold certified second album ‘Showtime’. Marga Man went on to release the underground hit ‘Butterz Friend’ which cemented him as a classic artist from Grime’s evolutionary days.
With his commanding stage presence, Marga Man has appeared on Channel 4’s Grime Legends concert in aid of The Prince’s Trust. His popularity ensures he is still regularly played on BBC Radio 1 Xtra, despite a brief hiatus from the industry to concentrate on family life.
On his new release ‘I’m A Rude Boy’ Marga Man’s self-produced comedic rap takes a satirical look at himself and others. Marga Man’s over the top vocals and comedic lyrics see him go from eating rice and peas to parking in disabled spaces. The animated music video accompanying the track is just as amusing as the track itself and is a must see for fans of modern British music parodies like ‘People Just Do Nothing’.
Previously he has taken influence from the likes of RedMan, Busta Rhymes and Eminem and has been at the forefront of the blossoming underground scene sharing stages with the likes of Justin Timberlake, The Neptunes and Black Eyed Peas at massive festivals like Coachella.
With a new album in the works Marga Man’s come back is set to be an entertaining one for fans of Grime and comedy alike.
