Multi-award winning UK beatboxer turned electronic pop artist Grace Savage shares her new single, ‘The Thing’.
Another deeply personal electronic pop track, ‘The Thing’ is underpinned by warm, synth-led production that puts Grace’s sensual vocals at the forefront. Shot entirely on Grace’s iPhone before lockdown, accompanying music video is a personal affair that sees her release emotions for all to see. ‘The Thing’ follows psychedelic offering ‘Falls The Heart’, which received support from BBC Introducing, who crowned the single their ‘Upload of the Week’ in Cornwall and Devon. Both tracks set to feature on Grace’s forthcoming Instinct EP, out 5th June.
Grace first burst onto the scene in 2017 with debut EP ‘Savage Grace’, before single ‘Running Under Water’ was named BBC Radio 1 ‘Introducing Track of the Week’ the following year. Continuing her ascent through the ranks, last year she received the highly competitive PRS Momentum Fund. Grace has also made her mark on the live circuit, performing at Glastonbury, Latitude and Wilderness last summer to help her solidify her ever-growing fanbase. Not stopping there, she landed a coveted Tedx talk on her experiences on being a female beatboxer in the music industry.
Another heart-on-sleeve single, ‘The Thing’ is a taste of what’s to come from Grace Savage’s eagerly-awaited ‘Instinct’ EP.
