Grace Gaustad expresses a message of love and hope on “Louder”

Grace Gaustad is an 18 year old singer/songwriter currently working in Los Angeles, California. Curating lyrics and melodies which portray a far greater understanding of the world than your average 18 year old, Grace organically grew a prolific online presence after going viral on her unique cover of Hozier’s spiritual single “Take Me To Church”.

Using music as a rich form of communication, she is able to express a message of love and hope amongst the chaos. “Louder” is an adroit showcase of her expert ability to curate songs which are inherently human at their core.

“We all make mistakes every day – some big and some small. Sometimes we hurt ourselves and sometimes we hurt those who mean the most to us” Grace explains candidly. “We can choose to ignore mistakes or we can choose to face them and accept the consequences. The best lessons in life are the ones you learn on your own because when you lose someone you really care about out of selfishness, your eyes open”.

Making the transition from covering songs to creating her own original music has been a challenging artistic process, but one that Grace has tackled head on. Putting countless hours into writing, performing, rehearsing and recording, she has successfully mastered her sound – accompanying her pop oriented rhythms with a darker melodic streak.

With her debut album set for release later in the year, 2020 is set to be another huge year for Grace Gaustad.
