Frank Viele Releases New Single “If You Could Only Read My Mind (Live at Space, Illinois 2018)”

Multiple award-winning Americana soul singer/songwriter and guitarist, Frank Viele, has been on the road this August with Epic Records artist, Howie Day. But the busy tour life has not stopped Frank Viele from dropping new music.

In support of his upcoming solo acoustic live album, 1 Mic, 1 Guitar, 10,000 Miles, Vol. 2, Viele releases his new single “If You Could Only Read My Mind (Live at Space, Illinois 2018)”. Hailed for his guitar playing and soulful, whiskey-soaked vocals, Frank Viele brings an intimate record to his fans.

Frank Viele has continued to evolve his musical story-telling through the years. Viele released his debut solo album, Fall Your Way, in 2015, which included his single “Broken Love Song”, featuring blues giant Joe Bonamassa on lead guitar. Soon after, he hopped on a nationwide tour opening for Zach Myers of Shinedown. Viele was named “Best Live Act” at the 2014 New England Music Awards and in 2016, he was named Best Emerging New England Folk/Soul Artist by The Deli Magazine.

In 2018, Viele released his acclaimed album What’s His Name?, a 12-track record that demonstrated the songwriter’s mature storytelling ability. The album garnered the artist another coveted award, Songwriter of the Year, at the 2018 New England Music Awards for all 6 states in the Northeast.

Viele’s fortitude in his career has opened doors to opportunities to work with an enviable list of musicians. He has become the supporting musician of choice for major touring acts such as Blues Traveler, Lee DeWyze, Will Hoge, and The Marshall Tucker Band. His collaborators include arranger/cellist Dave Eggar (Ray Lamontagne/Coldplay/Pearl Jam), songwriter Zach Myers (The Fairwell, Shinedown), and Christine Ohlman (lead singer with the Saturday Night Live band).

The new single, “If You Could Only Read My Mind (Live at Space, Illinois 2018)”, is the first taste of his new live album 1 Mic, 1 Guitar, 10,000 Miles, Vol. 2, set to release on September 6, 2019. The album consists of 11 tracks that Viele recorded live while on tour in 11 different cities with renowned acts such as John Waite, Lee DeWyze, Howie Day, and Zach Myers from Shinedown.
