Kent based 4-piece indie band, Get Inuit, have released a tongue-in-cheek homage to The Beach Boys in the form of a video for their latest single ‘Teriyaki’. The video is based on The Beach Boys’ ‘I Get Around’ and was filmed on ‘Sunny Beach’ in Kent on a decidedly grey day. The tone of the video is designed to mirror the close harmonies Get Inuit love to emulate from the classic Beach Boys sound.
Get Inuit have enjoyed a bumper 2016. Annie Mac has named them as one to watch. They have enjoyed many festival appearances over the summer, including SXSW and Reading. The boys are getting ready to put in an appearance at Pitchfork Avantgarde festival at the end of October as well as supporting Spring King on a UK tour. Other acts on the tour include Big Moon, Kagoule and The Magic Gang.
The boys have been working on their debut album in 2016, ‘Teriyaki’ has been released as a taste of things to come.
