Edith Shares Full Debut EP

London-based songwriter Edith is bringing her own style to UK Pop music..

Working with The Sonic Crew (Idris Elba/ Diplo/ Lethal Bizzle) has brought her distinctive brand of pop music to life. Born in Romania, before relocating to England, she began writing songs at school as an outlet for emotions she was unable to vocalise. Creating music was the only path from a young age, with Edith joining any musical assembly available at her school, while also learning guitar and piano. Her mother, who was also in a band, was a massive influence on her musical journey.

Edith wrote her first song at just 11 and hasn’t looked back since.

Inspired by contemporary pop artists such as LANY, Troye Sivan & Dua Lipa, Edith is an artist with the world of pop crown firmly in her sights – She launched her story to the world with “Don’t Wanna Think” in April, a track that introduced the young songwriter as a force to be reckoned with. The follow-up single “Afterparty”, ensured to the UK that she was an artist with serious staying power in the world of pop music. Her new, self-titled EP explores intricate electronic elements within the realm of contemporary pop. Delving into the difficulties of modern youth, it’s a richly produced project with a relatable outlook.
