British rap metal/djent band Hacktivist have released a brand new video for ‘Biszy’. As promised, the music clip was unveiled at 10AM (GMT) on 18 Jan after an audio version was teased before. ‘Buzsy’ is an official promo for Hacktivist‘s upcoming debut album Out Of The Box, out on 4th March this year via UNFD/Rise Records.

Based in Milton Keynes, Hacktivist have established a name as one of the promising new bands in the UK rapcore/djent scene. Their first EP Hacktivist (self-released in 2012, re-released in 2013 via Wake To Reality/PIAS) received positive reviews and included the smashing single ‘Elevate’. The band has since released two videos for tracks ‘False Idols’ and ‘Deceive and Defy’, which are probably going to be featured in the upcoming Out Of The Box.

Hacktivist have continualy toured to promote their music and played major European festivals including Download, Sonisphere and Rock Am Ring. Singers Jermaine Hurley and Ben Marvin also featured in the track ‘Erase’ from In Hearts Wake‘s last album ‘Skydancer.’ The band incorporates extremely low tuned guitars, ambient sounds and electronics, a mixture of rapping and singing, and a strong socio-political messages in their lyrics to establish a distinctive and somewhat unique sound.

Hacktivist are Jermaine ‘J’ Hurley (rapping), Ben Marvin (rapping/coarse vocals), Tim Beazley (clean vocals, guitars, programming), Josh Gurner (bass), and Richard Hawking (drums). The video for ‘Buszy’ is directed and edited by Josh Gurner, music is produced by Timfy James.
