Singer and rap artist Demi Cao has dropped her new debut English single “Yung.” This track truly speaks to those that are fearful and anxious about facing adolescence. Growing up can be tough and terrifying but instead of focusing on the negativity, it’s better to learn to appreciate the valuable memories of your youth.

A melancholic anthem about becoming an adult, this song is truly a celebration of youth. Demi’s smooth rap verses along with the steady drumbeats truly express the difficulty in trying to move on and acknowledge that adulthood is right around the corner. “Yung” is definitely a song that young people need now more than ever during uncertain times.
