The Cribs share new track ‘In Your Palace’

Wakefield’s finest indie extravaganza The Cribs have just wrapped up a tour celebrating ten years of their debut album “Men’s needs, Women’s Needs, Whatever” and now it looks like they’re still looking to the future with new track “In Your Palace”.

The track oozes the early indie sound of their debut but with an early grungier twist. It comes from an infamous studio session with Steve Albini from nearly half a decade ago now, way back in 2011. This new single comes only a few days after their one sided 7″ “Year of Hate” was released in a very cryptic fashion across 24 stores worldwide.

This summer The Cribs will be playing a number of festival dates, including Leopallooza in Cornwall, Oxfordshire’s The Big Festival and Festival No.6 in Portmeirion. They’ll also be supporting Manic Street Preachers at Newcastle’s Times Square.

There’s been talks in the past of these sessions in Chicago with Albini being turned into a fully fledged album so keep your eyes wide open and listen to the new distorted indie filth of “In Your Palace” below.
