“We need everyone who’s ever been to one our gigs, thought of going to a gig, or wants to be a part of something special in unsigned West Midlands music to dig deep and find the time and a small £6 to support something that could mean a lot. We’ll be making this the most special performance of our lives ensuring you receive every penny back and more.”
Local four-piece up and coming indie band Candid are on the right track to have the best night of their lives on Saturday 28th March 2020. The Coventry boys are projected to sell out their biggest show to date- a show at their hometown’s second biggest venue the Coventry Empire. These talented youngsters are midway through their latest campaign of releases, having recently graced our ears with their latest single ‘Concrete Jungle’ which was released during 2019 and has impressively gained over 50,000 streams on Spotify already.
Candid have been wasting no time in recent years in building a strong and loyal fanbase all across the West-Midlands and performing and selling out four hometown shows and have supported major artists such as Scouting For Girls and The Hoosiers. You may have previously seen one of their performances at greenfield festivals such as Y-not and Godiva and have achieved several notable accolades including their latest track Concrete Jungle being played on E4’s Made in Chelsea.
All of Candid’s efforts in playing shows to their home crowd and prioritising their own has all come back around to give them the boost of elevation they need. The four youngsters have currently sold over 75% of tickets and with lots of time until the show, they’re looking forward to making a huge statement to their home crowd. They have clearly generated a huge demand across the UK.
These guys are undoubtedly going to be headlining festival bills in the near future. They own their unique brand of guitar based indie rock with huge sing along choruses and memorable melodies which will inevitably please crowds. We can’t wait to hear what else Candid will have in store for us for 2020.
