‘Cold Cold Cold’ is the latest release from Cage The Elephant’s fourth album, the GRAMMY-nominated ‘Tell ME I’m Pretty’.
The third single off the LP is due to be released on the 17th January. Directed by frontman and lead vocalist Matthew Schultz, the accompanying video was released a mere 5 days ahead of the official single release date. Another triumph from the Kentucky-based ska band, this video precedes a UK tour, kicking off later this month.

Featuring everything from Mick Jagger-esque dancing to a body-builder with lively pectoral muscles, the video is a psychological event befitting of the band’s musical style. The undeniably trippy short film depicts the journey of a man through his time in an asylum: filled with religious symbolism, a stark contrast of greyscale and vividly coloured shots, and even a beheading, this is one of the rare occasions where a music video actually adds depth to the music it accompanies.
