Paolo Nutini returns with ‘Scream (Funk My Life Up)’

It’s been nearly 4 years since we last heard from Paisley singer-songwriter Paolo Nutini. However, the scotsman is back with a new single ‘Scream‘ and has released details of his third album ‘Caustic Love’.

Scream‘ has been given a March 20th 2014 release date and can heard in all its glory, below. It’s a real funk track which certainly moves away from the indie genre of the previous two albums.

‘Caustic Love’ was recorded in London, Glasgow, Valencia and the US, and co-produced by Dani Castelar (Snow Patrol, Editors) and is the follow up to the artists 2009 release ‘Sunny Side Up‘. The previous album went 6 times platinum in the UK. The artist was showcasing the track on last nights Zane Lowe’s show and  joked how he thought about calling his new album Numpty.

He joked: “There’s 11 or 12 tracks on the album. It’s called Caustic Love. I had a few ideas like Numpty but thought Caustic Love was a bit more representative. Numpty does have a ring to it.

More album details and live date information will follow soon.
