A thrilling Euro-Amazonian psych-garage strange brew arrives with No Me Coman

As if bellowing humanity’s final, defiant roar of unrestrained creative fervour, Euro-Amazonian five-piece, No Me Coman throw the musical flash bombthat is Down The Rabbit Hole, drawn from their second, scintillating album, THE TIDE, released on Fri 1 November 2019 on Salvation Records. Watch the wild video for the track below.

Based in Winterthur, Switzerland and coalescing around the nucleic partnership of songwriters, Colombian/Swiss artist, Jorge Oswald and his Argentinian counterpart, Leonardo Pedrocca, No Me Coman is completed by Swiss-Argentinian, classical musician, Carolina Segui, Argentinian drummer, Damian Lopez and Barcelona-based percussionist, Francisco Pedrocca.

Described by the band themselves as “a void filled with Amazonian distortion, garage tales and soulful moments in between electronic spirals,” the band’s name, Spanish for ‘don’t eat me’ adopts apt resonance as listeners give themselves over to their barely-tamed, shape-shifting beast. The new wave riffs of Down The Rabbit Hole steers the band as close to indie acceptability as their explosive imagination allows.

To coincide with the release, the band announces the following brace of UK Tour Dates, their first jaunt to the island, with more to be confirmed:

  • Thu 31 October    Bristol, Rough Trade
  • Fri 1 November    London, The Waiting Room

Released on Liverpool-based Salvation Records, No Me Coman joins the label that introduced Klaus Johann Grobe to an international audience as well as releasing records by Stockholm’s Trummor and Orgel, Liverpool’s Strange Collective and France’s Forever Pavot.
