‘A Picture Made’ Wait Thirty-Five Years to Release Debut Album

You might not know the name A Picture Made. But if you were a fan of the alternative music scene in the mid ’80s, you may have seen them. APM hailed from the Midwestern United States and toured with some of the seminal bands of that era (The Replacements, The Call, The Connells, etc.). Yet with all of those meaty tours, they never made a record of their own.

Fast forward to 2019 and the band (now based in Virginia, USA), and A Picture Made have shared a new single and plans for their long-awaited debut. We weren’t awaiting it ourselves, as we’ve never heard of them. But “God Loves A Hell Of A Man” is a juicy rocker that transports right back to the ’80s. It would be interesting to find out if these songs were all written during their touring heyday or if there are newer tunes.

There’s certainly enough to like about “God Loves A Hell Of A Man”, that we’ll be waiting to hear the album when it’s ready. Heal will be released this May on the Gooodspeeed Records label.
