‘Lashes’ takes the same distinctive sonic hallmarks of its slow motion predecessor and moves them into faster, more upbeat territory. Jeppe’s vocals, favourably compared by some to Vampire Weekend frontman Ezra Koenig, convey the agonies of unfettered but unrequited passion with engagingly open-hearted honesty.

The brainchild of Copenhagen-based songwriter and producer Jeppe Kiel Revsbech, the Rosenthal project made big waves with his reflective and serene first track ‘Afraid of Stairs’, winning Amazing Radio’s Audition Show public vote, gaining multiple plays on the station alongside enthusiastic support from Artrocker, Subba Cultcha and God Is In The TV, among other online zines.
Set to become a highlight of his forthcoming full band live shows due to reach the UK this spring, ‘Lashes’ will further cement Rosenthal’s reputation as one of 2014’s most promising, individual and distinctive newcomers.
