Foo Fighters front man Dave Grohl revealed during an interview with BBC One that the band has announced a new album “Concrete And Gold” that will feature a “bunch of guests” and one will “really surprise you”, Grohl revealed that “there is one who is probably the biggest pop star in the world and – I’m not kidding – sings back up on one of the heaviest songs on the record and we’re not telling anyone who it is”.
Fans have been trying to guess who the “biggest pop star” could be, most people think it might be Adele.
Grohl also added “honestly, I think it’s going to take a lot of people by surprise. Every band says it’s the best record they’ve ever made, but wait till you hear it, it’s definitely the hugest thing we’ve ever done”.
“Concrete And Gold” will be released on September 15th, the first single called “Run” is out now.
Foo Fighters will also be touring America in celebration of the album release, they start off with Cal Jam 17 on October 7th and will have a bunch of supporting acts too.
