Manchester noise makers Dantevilles return with “Bloomin Flowers” single

Gaining various features and reviews from the likes of Fred Perry, XS Manchester, Gigslutz and Clash music in 2018, Dantevilles built some considerable hype before deciding to take time out to focus on writing, recording and honing their sound. The band came together when Jamie, Connor & Paul were backpacking through Greece. One day, deep in a forest, they heard a faint but distinct drumming sound being carried on the air. They decided to follow the sound and it led them to a clearing, in the centre of which, Alexis was serenading nature with his unique rhythms: Dantevilles were born.

In 2018 they played over 30 shows, notably 3 sold out Manchester shows, Brighton’s Great Escape festival, Rivfest, and Kendal Calling. Their live show is tight, original and captivating. “The level of intensity exerted into each song from all members is truly electrifying.” Beatstream. A blend of styles, from a variety of influences, compliments dual lead singer Jamie and Connor’s vocals to give the band a concoction of original, alternative rock.

Following the success of debut E.P “Dantevilles”, and plays on Radio 1 and BBC6 music accompanied by a sellout show at Manchester’s 300 capacity Soup Kitchen, Dantevilles revisited producer Joseph Cross to record their new single. “Bloomin Flowers” will be released on the 8th of March 2019.

“Bloomin’ Flowers” developed at writing session in the studio. It was shelved for some time before Alexis’ drum patterns unlocked the possibilities within the song. The title plays on Mancunian slang with Bloomin,’ while the song itself is about how time and culture has changed how we understand love and relationships.
