The Maine have shared another track from their upcoming album ‘Lovely Little Lonely’ and it’s sounding sun-drenched and nostalgic. Titled ‘Black Butterflies & Déjà Vu’ the track encapsulates what the band do best, with pretty melodies and soulful vocals to convey a particular moment in time for their fans to share in.
The band shared a statement about the track on their Facebook page which can be read below.
“This song is for the moments, places, or persons that somehow turn your tongue to stone. Those times when words truly do not possess the power to adequately paint the subject. For me, this was written for an instance when the world was made clear to me for only an instant. When trouble faded into wonder, and I had absolutely no use for the 26 letters I know.”
‘Black Butterflies & Déjà Vu‘ is released ahead of The Maine’s US headline tour, as well as a one-off London show on the 25th of March.
