Following a stellar start to their career with their singles blasting onto Spotify Rock playlists, rave coverage from Planet Rock/Classic Rock Magazine/BBC Radio, and explosive live shows in the UK, France and China, Liverpool rock n’ rollers Little Triggers have released their debut LP Loaded Gun. Produced by Bring Me The Horizon engineer Al Groves, the 10-track album preaches the gospel of classic rock n’ roll with a masterclass in huge guitar riffs, howling vocals and a punkish, livewire energy powering the melodic and anthemic songs.

There’s a lot to love here – every song is delivered with the energy and confidence of a hungry band fresh out of the traps, and is polished to a high sheen by the punchy production. The album has a good mix of dynamic, fast-paced rockers and slower, bluesier numbers and there are a few songs here that are custom-built for festival sing-a-longs – you can easily imagine a field of people going crazy for So Fine or Girl. The guitar work deserves special mention, and is a solo-drenched throwback to the golden era of 1970s rock n’ roll.
Rock media have been quick to spot Little Triggers’ huge potential, with radio tastemakers supporting the band’s February single So Fine and Classic Rock Magazine featuring them as a Track Of The Week. The supercharged song also received the Spotify seal of approval and rocketed to thousands of streams with a prominent placement on their All New Rock official playlist.
With an Iggy Pop support slot last year as well as a growing fanbase from sold-out shows in the past 18 months, 2019 will convert more music fans hungry for authentic thrills to the Little Triggers musical cause.
They play a free show in Brighton at The Brunswick in Brighton on 7th July, before heading to the main stage of The Great British Rhythm & Blues Festival in Colne on 23rd August.
