Late on a Tuesday evening, Kid Cudi took to twitter and released the artwork for ‘Kids See Ghosts’. The collaborative album with him and Kanye West, set to release this Friday. Kids See Ghosts’ cover art is a one of one piece created by well known Japanese Artist, Takashi Murakami. An image featuring the images of ghosts, Japanese symbols, and a knack for color, a tone has been set for the type of album fans and listeners will receive.
Takashi Murakami was born in the 60s and for his contemporary art, he’s been called “the Warhol of Japan”. Working with renowned artists and designers like Virgil Abloh, Pharrell Williams, Louis Vuitton, and many more.
