Ben Lovett of English band Mumford & Sons and Global Citizen have launched a project in which the public can co-write and collaborate on an album titled ‘Metamorphoses’ to help fight extreme poverty.

The National, Ellie Goulding and Kayne West are involved, amongst other world-class artists.

Lovett describes how “‘Metamorphoses’ will transform your thoughts and feelings into Music, giving a voice to the words that might well inspire change, give hope or provide healing for other citizens around the World.”

You can submit your lyrics in the Global Citizen website. Artists will pick lyrics which will fit into their songs, with credits provided.

The release date for the 12-track album is  Autumn 2016.
