In these troubled times, it’s poets and artists like John Cooper Clarke that can truly hold things together and offer some hope in spite of grim realism, no matter how small.
Ever the hard worker, Clarke is set to embark on a decently lengthy UK tour this month entitled ‘The Luckiest Man Alive’; it’s a series of dates that takes him across the UK, opening in Bexhill On Sea on the 16th and rounding off in Wigan a couple of weeks later. Those unable to catch him on that particular jaunt will also be able to see him on one or more of the various shows already announced that’ll see him through to the end of the year. Expect a full review of his Bexhill On Sea show shortly and, while you wait, check out his website for the full tour itinerary.
