Jarrod Dickenson has announced the new release date of his long-awaited album ‘Ready The Horses’. Originally due for release in March 2017, the Texas singer-songwriter’s much-hyped UK headline tour and recent signing to Decca Records has pushed the album’s release back to September 29th. The album, and its new southern gospel sound, has already received critical acclaim, with many hailing it as Dickenson’s most ambitious release to date.

‘Ready The Horses’ lead single ‘California’ was released this week. A reworking of a track originally from his 2010 debut ‘Ashes on the Ground’, it adds the warm southern lushness and sun-soaked majesty that characterizes the album, and features the prominent backing vocals of Dickenson’s wife Claire.
Dickenson has also announced a fresh UK headline tour, off the back of the Decca Records deal. Dickenson will be touring the UK throughout October to showcase ‘Ready The Horses’ for an who missed it the first time round. The show concludes with a performance at the St. Pancras Old Church in London.
