Following the BBC 6Music seal of approval from indie legend Steve Lamacq for their recent Bonnie & Clyde single, young UK indie-rock band The Falmouths are back with a new single on all download and streaming platforms today.

The scuzzy and energetic garage rock of Toy Battalion is out now, and the band have also announced three new live shows. Check it out on Soundcloud here now…

The Falmouths were formed in Swindon by frontman Joshua Weaver, and like many of the best rock n’ roll gangs they met young and hungry to make their mark on the music world whilst still at college. With their early singles Where The Devil WalksPlain Sight and Bonnie & Clyde racking up radio support from BBC Introducing and BBC 6Music, a run of buzzy blog features and a live partnership with the influential This Feeling, they have a run of new singles planned for the next 12 months and will be hitting the road to further build their fanbase and audience.

To celebrate the release of Toy Battalion, The Falmouths are playing the following live shows.

27th September – Level III, Swindon

28th September – St James Wine Vaults, Bath

4th October – Mother’s Ruin, Bristol
