South London-based four-piece Horsey have shared a new music video accompanying blistering track “Bread and Butter”, their first release in over a year.

Followers of the enigmatic band will be delighted with the typically unnerving spectacle which unsettles from start to grisly finish. It’s a “WTF”-inducing gluttony of horrors somewhere between an art students comedown-dreams and a deep-web snuff movie. Featured, amongst other weird delights, are creepy avian masks, Karma Sutra erotica, a tandem bicycle and a bacchanalian devil whose overindulgence (in bread and butter, of course) culminates in his pukey demise.

All of this is soundtracked by the usual frenzy of distorted punk-meets-jazz and lo-fi twitchiness. With added growls, yelps, baffling lyricism and general weirdness. It’s a real hoot and business as usual at Horsey HQ.

“Bread and Butter” is released on Big Love Records. You can catch Horsey live at one of their imminent London dates:

JAN 30th – London – The Social

FEB 02nd – London – Amersham Arms
