The multi-talented Holly Miranda is readying the release of two new singles, “Everlasting” and “Desert Call” (featuring backing vocals by Kelis), due out October 1st on Federal Prism. Produced by Dave Sitek (TV on the Radio), her longtime friend and collaborator, the singles also mark her first release with Sitek’s new label Federal Prism. The release will also coincide with two shows on October 1st in San Francisco at Brick and Mortar Music Hall and October 4th in Los Angeles at Hotel Café. In late October, Holly will support Brendan Canning from Broken Social Scene on a handful of dates across the US (details are below).
The artist has already toured extensively and seems to be much in demand after already playing with such acts as Tegan and Sara, The XX, My Morning Jacket, Florence and The Machine, TV on The Radio, Vampire Weekend, The Antlers, Oh Land and Lou Reed. In 2010 Miranda also appeared in the Sitek project Maximum Balloon.
Holly Miranda is currently recording and producing the follow up to 2010’s “The Magicians Private Library”. However, In the meantime there are a set of supporting live dates, below…
