Guns N’ Roses and The Who, two world-known rock legends, have just announced on Twitter a joint headlining tour for their South American tour dates. The bands will indeed share the stage next Fall on the 23rd September for their Rock in Rio performance in Rio de Janeiro, and on the 1st October for their performance at Estadio Único De La Plata in Buenos Aires.
In the next few days, according to Blabbermouth, it is rumoured that the bands will announce joint performances in other South American cities in Brazil, Chile and Peru.
Hurry up if you’d like to see The Who live however, as frontman Roger Daltrey, has announced just last month that the band may decide not to go on tour anymore after the current tour comes to an end. Indeed he has said in an interview with NME:
“We seriously don’t know if we’ll ever play again after this tour. People at our age have been popping their clogs [over the last year] so let’s just get real here, where we are in our lives”.
Keep your eyes peeled on social media for further joint tour dates announcements concerning the two rock legends!
