Greta Van Fleet promise new music this year

Greta Van Fleet released their highly successful first full album Anthem of the Peaceful Army just last year. Most bands would tour the album for quite some time before heading back into the studio.

Greta Van Fleet though aren’t most bands it seems and already are planning new music for 2019. In terms of what the band are looking to do during 2019 the answer is, “a lot more writing, getting some stuff recorded and start working on the next thing,” bass player Sam Kiszka said.

The band were also asked if that meant that new music was on the way to which singer Josh Kiszka stated, “we’ll all quit; we’re parting ways if we don’t release new music.” There is no specific timeline for when the band could have new material out but the group have apparently not stopped writing new songs since the release of their first album back in October of last year.

Greta Van Fleet have seen success that few rock bands have with their first album in recent years and it would appear that they are trying to capitalize on that as quickly as possible.
