Firefly Festival Finally releases 2019 Lineup— and it’s full of surprises

The Firefly lineup has finally been released, and we have to say: we were not expecting this.

This lineup marks Firefly’s first go after its momentous move from Red Frog Entertainment to festival giant AEG/Goldenvoice (re: Coachella, Bumbershoot), and had many fans and Firefly veterans (us included) anxiously waiting to see how this would affect the lineup. We can’t lie and say we weren’t worried this would be Coachella 2.0, but, like always, the undercard boasts a wide range of artists that don’t usually end up at festivals at all, a signature move that most other mainstream festivals don’t pull.

While a bit all over the place in terms of the vibe, the lineup boasts Kygo, Tyler the Creator, Vampire Weekend, DJ Snake, ZEDD, Death Cab for Cutie, Brockhampton, and Courtney Barnett among others. The undercard is also quite diverse, drawing in LostBoyCrow, Turnover, The Midnight, FM-84, and more artists that we wouldn’t usually find at festivals. New to the festival also is an Immersive Camping Experience called “The Great Atlantic Campout“, where fans can enjoy a slew of upgraded amenities and activities, and the S.P.A.R.K. Program, where Firefly goers past and present can connect with each other before, during and after the festival through meetups, volunteering opportunities, team sports and other group activities. Notable changes this year have also included the cutdown of the festival from four days to three, and the implementation of a new Firefly loyalty program.

Tickets are available here starting December 14 at 12pm ET. Earlybug pricing is unfortunately sold out, but a range of other options are still available.

See you there!
