Manchester Psych Fest have announced the first wave of artists who will perform at their 2020 edition, with the annual festival looking to go one better than last year’s expanded event.
Headlining the festival this year will be the one and only Stereolab, with the English-French avant-pop legends recently returning from a decade long hiatus.
Also announced to perform at the 2020 edition are Irish noise rockers Girl Band, Liverpool-based experimental pop three-piece Stealing Sheep, and indie-psych collective Whyte Horses.
They will be joined by Japanese noise makers Bo Ningen, Chester’s melodic indie pop trio Peaness, one-man electro/psych machine TVAM and the Bristol techno-punk outfit Scalping.
In addition, Rosaline Cunningham (Purson), Julia Bardo, Do Nothing, The Goa Express, Gaygirl, PVA, The Claque, Bunny Hoova, Talk Show, Social Contract, White Flowers, BDRMM, Blanketman, The Red Stains and Whinge have also been announced.
Manchester Psych Fest 2020 will take place on Saturday 5th September, with further line-up announcements scheduled in the lead up to the event.
