Pop-punk festival Slam Dunk continues its expansion, with the addition of a leg in Paris, France.
The festival-which, last year branched out to Leeds Temple Newsam, from its spiritual home in Leeds city centre-adds the Paris all-dayer to its Leeds and Hatfield dates.
Slam Dunk France will take place over two venues-La Cigale and La Boule Noir-on Saturday 30th May 2020, and will be headlined by Utah emo legends, The Used. Easycore veterans Four Year Strong, pop-punk upstarts Grayscale, and home-field artists Chunk! No Captain Chunk! and Landmvrks are also set to play the festival’s bow in the French Capital.
The addition of an overseas date continues the ambitious expansion of the upstart, independent festival. While last year saw the loss of the Midlands date, it saw the Northern leg move to the significantly larger Temple Newsam site. The addition of the date in Paris sees Slam Dunk transcending its reputation as the UK’s premier home of pop-punk, into a major player in the European festival scene.
Tickets will go on sale on Thursday 24th January and are available from www.slamdunkmusic.com.
