Community Festival returns once more for its third
successive year at Finsbury Park.
This Sunday sees the cream of the Indie crop descend on
North London for a day packed with all things glorious.
Long-time Indie-pop favourites Kooks head the bill, as well
as Blossoms off the back of their milestone set at Stockport County’s Edgeley
Park. Also flying the Stockport flag will be the hugely exciting Fuzzy Sun, who
team silky synths with tantalisingly catchy beats. Signed to Blossoms’ Very
Clever Records label, they are destined for big things.
With almost 40,000 packing out last year’s festival,
headlined by Two Door Cinema Club, 2019 is set for bigger and better things.
Fresh from the release of their spectacular second album,
The Amazons will be on hand to turn the heat up, alongside Scottish sing-song
maestro Gerry Cinnamon and The Night Café.
All this plus a set from another Indie icon, in Kate Nash. After
then success of last year’s brilliant ‘Yesterday Was Gone’ album, the songwriter
will be sure to wow the crowd with witty classics such as ‘Foundations’ and ‘Mouthwash’
