Boomtown Fair announces 2020 lineup including headliners Wu-Tang Clan, The Libertines and Kano

Boomtown Fair has revealed its lineup for the 12th edition of the festival, named ‘New Beginnings’.

Taking place August 12-16, the Hampshire festival returns with every area of the grounds dedicated to its own themed stages, decor, actors and acts.

Main artists include Wu-Tang Clan, Kano, Underworld, Damian ‘Jr Gong’ Marley, The Libertines, and Mura Masa will be some of the acts playing across the 27 main stages through 12 different districts.

Some of the genres include, but are not limited to, folk, metal, world, roots, reggae, ska, neo soul, post punk, balkan, hip-hop, jazz, two-tone, Americana, soundsystem culture, techno and house

Also unveiled is a trailer for State of Emergency, a multi-stage show that will grow throughout the festival themed around technologies and the circus.

Boomtown officials describe the festival as a “high energy, theatrical spectacular of circus and performance, as well as boundary-pushing sound design, technology and special effects to create a 360 degree experience across multiple stages and areas.”

Also playing are Flogging Molly, Skindred, The Hu, Andy C, Nosia, Glitterbox, The Black Madonna, Princess Nokia, Sudan Archives and Ibibio Sound Machine, among many more.

The original founding members of Pendulum will also be coming together to perform their brand new state of the art show.
