Battles set join Gruff Rhys, Richard Hawley and more at Focus Wales 2020

A new wave of artists have been announced for Focus Wales 2020. The 10th anniversary edition will see over 250 acts perform at multiple venues across Wrexham from 7th to 9th May.

Among the new additions to the line up are US experimental rock outfit Battles. They will join previous announced headliner Richard Hawley, as well as the likes of Altin Gün, Stealing Sheep, Flamingods and Lucy Spraggan.

The international showcase festival will not only feature a host of acts from all over the world performing across 20 stages, but Focus Wales will also play host to some of the best talent Wales has to offer.

Established artists such as Super Furry Animals frontman Gruff Rhys will perform a selection of his solo material alongside Welsh language artists such as Adwaith, Worldcub and Meilir, among others.

Named the Best Festival for Emerging Talent at the 2019 UK Festival Awards, the multi-venue event will also feature a full schedule of keynote speakers and panels with industry professionals, in addition to art shows and film screenings.
