A Day to Remember have announced a massive 17 date European tour.
The tour will see the band hit the continent on May 5, in Hannover, and perform 17 dates, spanning 10 countries.
In addition to this, the band’s dates in Leeds and Hatfield alternate with Slam Dunk festival, leading to the two events sharing the sites, and effectively extending Slam Dunk to a two day event.
Slam Dunk’s social media pages have been cryptically hinting at a ‘#Day2’ over the last week. While many fans worried that the pop-punk one dayer might lose its identity; trying to become a multi-day alt-rockfestivalbehemoth, hosting two A Day to Remember’s makes perfect sense for both parties.
Shortly after the band broke the news, Slam Dunk confirmed that they would be sharing their sites with the band, and would offer ticket packages with significant discounts for fans who want to attend both dates:
‘HUGE SHOW ANNOUNCEMENT.
Transform your one day of Slam Dunk Festival into two days of pop-punk history! We have the legendary A Day To Remember playing at the Slam Dunk Festival sites with grandson supporting, and others TBA.
As you might already know, their new album was due to be released last year, however this has been delayed, resulting in their touring schedule being pushed back to the same time as Slam Dunk Festival. Since our line-up for #SDF20 had already been finalised and we had the perfect setting for a 2 day pop-punkparty, we offered the Slam Dunk festival sites for them to deliver two special shows across Slam Dunk weekend.
If you’ve already purchased a day ticket for Slam Dunk Festival then you will get access to a discounted A Day To Remember ticket for £27.50 🤘
