Since the hologram’s debut, fans have been torn about the concept, some have backed the digitized Dio, saying it will help spread Ronnie’s music and offer an escape to the world of fantasy he entertained us with throughout his career. The hologram will perform for the majority of the show, treating fans to an alternating set list that will feature the songs “Holy Diver” “Rainbow In The Dark” “We Rock” “King Of Rock And Roll” and many more.
The “Dio Returns” will feature Dio’s actual live vocals, backed by a live band.
Wendy also recently fired back at critics of the hologram saying in an interview with Ultimate Classic Rock: “I get called a cash cow, well it’s acually costing us a hell of a lot of money, we didn’t need to do it, but we’re doing things that we always did. Ronnie did things for his fans, and we’re trying to continue that.”
